This is what drives Margo Fonda in her personal training. Margo is a golfer and a personal trainer, but many other rotary sports are improved with similar fitness techniques. Margo specializes in power development for performance in your striking (golf, tennis, hockey, baseball, etc.) or throwing (baseball, shot put, javelin, etc.) sport. This is exercise for a purpose. The foundation of her training philosophy is based on your body’s current and potential movement abilities. As a trainer, she is committed  to train smart for safety and to protect you from injury.

Titleist has a screening procedure which reveals swing fault characteristics that can be targeted with corrective exercises. Likewise, the Functional Movement System has a screening method to define your progress in your movement patterns. These two tests provide a feedback loop, enabling progress to be made and measured. This approach to fitness is not burning calories just to burn calories, it is for performance improvement. Margo feels strongly committed to a systematic approach to fitness building from mobility and stability, to speed and power development.
